Stake.com – Stake Launches its Own Streaming Platform Kick

This week saw the arrival of a new Stake.com streaming platform. This will be called Kick and it will let gamers stream gambling-related content. As a result, the Stake Kick streaming platform hopes to be a viable alternative to other streaming sites like Twitch where gambling streams are banned.

The announcement of Kick was accompanied by news of a 95% revenue split and was bolstered by the endorsement of several high-profile gambling streamers such as Trainwreck. But does this casino streaming Twitch alternative have the power to go the distance?

What’s expected from the new Stake.com streaming platform

Kick is largely being positioned as something of a Stake Twitch alternative. It would work in a similar way whereby a gamer could post streams of their own gaming activity and then earn advertising-based revenues depending on how many people watched their content.

However, the fact that Kick is a new casino streaming platform means that it offers something that Twitch doesn’t. This is because Twitch was forced to remove all gambling-related content from its platform in September of this year, and the Kick streaming service will be hoping to meet the demand left by Twitch’s absence.

Kick is backing this move up with a particularly generous revenue split for its signed-up streamers. This sees any streamer at Kick earning 95% of all revenues gained from their streaming. Such a deal is clearly more advantageous when compared to the relatively measly 30% currently earned by streamers over at Twitch.

It remains to be seen how long Kick will be able to maintain such a generous revenue model, but the team behind the venture remain hopeful that the platform would become, ‘the leading content provider in the gambling industry.’

Key players on the Stake Kick streaming platform

Stake was quick to sign up some high-profile streamers to promote the launch of the new Kick live streaming platform. Key among these was Trainwreck who is arguably the most famous gambling streamer in the world. The 31-year old currently has 2.1 million followers, but has found himself homeless since Twitch banned gambling-related content. As a result, the Stake Trainwreck Kick streaming channel represents a real coup for the new venture.

In addition to this, there was also the launch of the Roshstein Kick channel. Roshstein is a popular slot streamer and the Swedish gamer was on hand to show off his gameplay while hosting a brief question and answer session.

Elsewhere, there was an Xposed Kick session where that gamer held a $10,000 giveaway competition and lent his approval to the new streaming platform. As a result, the launch of Kick has caused a big splash in the online streaming domain.
